Our founder, affectionately known as "Shug," shares a poignant story of organ donation, with Jerry Sellers, a dear friend and kidney recipient, at its heart. Despite the tragedy of losing him to cancer, Shug finds strength in sharing their journey, highlighting the transformative power of selfless giving.

Driven by a belief in the profound impact of altruism, Shug's by the Inlet emerged as a non-profit corporation dedicated to educating the public on living organ donation. Shug also founded a non-profit called Shug's in Memory of Jerry Sellers, honoring Jerry's legacy and furthering the mission of organ donation awareness. Through our unique creations crafted from seashells and turquoise stones sourced from Arizona and New Mexico, we endeavor to fund our passion for saving lives.
